Your code causes app to crash when running on simulator for iOS 8.1

After 3 days, I finally figured out that your code was causing my app to crash when running under the iOS 8.1 simulator. (it did not pass the XCode 6.1 Analyze without warnings).

I have removed your code and the app is now working correctly.
