All core functionality should be tested and working, with minimal quality of life features on top. The lists below are not exhaustive, and will probably be expanded, as I work on features. Publishing: - F-Droid - Google Play Core Requirements: - Reliable feed parsing (parsing images, descriptions, stripping HTML tags if present) - Reliable interactions (read later, mark as read, mark as unread) - Error handling and descriptive error messages - No "placeholder" screens / components - No dead code - No losing of user data - No crashes Features: - Ordering (by published date, by feed, ascending, descending) - Search bar (searching by article title or description is enough) - Background refresh to fetch new articles Not a strict requirement, but something I could work on if I still have time: - Settings page (will mostly include debug settings and information) - Animations - Pagination What *definitely* won't be included in Alpha release: - Article tags - Categories - In-app article view - Desktop builds and desktop-optimized UI - UI optimized for tablets - iOS builds
