UI/UX improvements needed in website (broken links, spacing, typography) #555

I hope you are doing well.
While exploring the AOSSIE website locally, I noticed a few small UI/UX-related issues that could be improved to enhance usability and visual consistency. I would like to highlight them here for discussion and guidance before proceeding further.
Observed Issues
Non-functional mail icon in the footer
The mail icon appears clickable but does not perform any action when clicked.
Other social icons in the footer redirect correctly, which makes this behavior inconsistent.
Project / idea card links not opening
In the Projects/Ideas sections, the “Know more” or link icons on certain cards do not redirect to any page when clicked.
Excessive empty space in idea cards
Some idea cards contain relatively short content but still occupy a large vertical space, resulting in too much empty area and an unbalanced layout.
Typography/readability improvement in the Ideas section description
The descriptive paragraph under the “Ideas” heading feels less engaging and could benefit from improved typography (font family, font size, or line height) to enhance readability and visual hierarchy.
Expected Outcome
Footer mail icon should trigger a valid action (e.g., mailto:) or be disabled if not intended.
Project/idea card links should redirect correctly.
Card layout should adapt better to content length.
Improved readability and visual appeal of the Ideas section description while maintaining design consistency.
