Position Description + Student Portal

Change how position descriptions are created, stored, updated, and exposed to both admins and students. Also, introduce a Student Portal where students can view positions, apply, and handle their LSF application workflow. Position descriptions must be stored with the Labor Status Form so the correct version stays tied to each student. Historical records should be tied to each student and their job descriptions; any new job description updates can only apply to new students coming into that position, for the position to be updated.
Student Portal new updates:

• Students can browse available positions based on:
  • Department
  • Position type
  • Hours
  • Description
• “Apply” or “Request Change” actions integrated with LSF
• Position availability based on departmental allocations
