Description of the solution I'd like
Since #13 we now have logging support for all extensions and core files. This has become even more useful since #28 which lets use fetch it easilly. However in between these two, none of the modifications that were made beneficed from logging. This is an issue since it voids the use of the very feature. It would thus be necessary to add logging entries throughout the code.

What needs to be done
