Project Part 1 Learning Objectives * Setup and use collaborative tools for team-based project development. * Collaborate in a team. Exercise and Submission *** We would prefer if you used github for a git repo and wiki *** Please make a git repository that is available to the TAs and Instructor, either readable within your home directory, or available on the web (github is acceptable). If you're not going to keep documentation in the git repository you'll have to provide us with the github wiki URLs or the google docs URLs and make sure that the TAs and Instrcutor can read them. You will be using a github's wiki OR googledocs AND a source repository (git) to share, manage, and store your project artifacts. 1. Create a document that your group will use and have every member modify that document, creating a new version. If you're not using google docs or github wiki, move on to part 2 and create a docs/ dir in your repository and then have everyone edit a document in there. 2. Create a git repo that is accessible by the instructors, TAs and your team member. Save and record the git repo URL. The git repo should be accessible at all times to instructors and TAs. Github is acceptable. 3. See the Teams page for the name of your source repository . From Eclipse, in your source repository (e.g., at https://repos.cs.ualberta.ca/repos/c301g01 for team Alpha), create a TestFile.txt file, and have each of your team members make a distinct, versioned edit to that file. Hints This exercise can be completed in the labs along with the members of your team during the 3rd week. Starting that week, for the rest of the term, you should attend the lab (Tuesday or Thursday) that your team has been assigned on the Teams page. Please ensure your TA mentor has access to your repo.
