Thanks for raising this issue! I think this might be due to the extensions monitoring your Workspace for files using a file watcher and then determining if it is a datapack or metadata file to enable the right context menu.

I am evaluating if I can run this job out of process to avoid this issue.

You can try disabling dynamic context menu's from settings. And if you do please let me know if this helped.
