Deploy failed due to no omnistudio__VlocityDataPackConfiguration__mdt

When trying to deploy any component(omniscript, or data mapper) to target sandbox, it shows [error] vlocode.omniScript.convert:
Error loading datapack Change_Approver_English_DataPack.json: No such object with name omnistudio__VlocityDataPackConfiguration__mdt exists in this Salesforce instance

Are you running this on an org witg an SFI package installed?

Somehow I see that it tries to use omnistudio as namespace for the datapack config but the omnistudio namespace won't have that object.
