Currently, DocEase provides a visually appealing interface for managing documents but lacks core interactions like adding, editing, and deleting entries. Implementing these features will enhance usability and move the project toward full functionality.
Feature Requirements
- Create Document: Add a form with fields like Title and Content, and a "Save" button to create new documents.
- Edit Functionality: Allow users to open an existing document in editable mode, update it, and save changes.
- Delete Option: Provide a delete button/icon on each document card or view to remove documents.
- User Feedback: Use modals or confirmations (e.g., “Are you sure?”) for delete actions and display alerts or toast notifications for successful operations.
- Data Handling: For now, store document data in localStorage to simulate persistence.
- Responsive UI: Ensure that forms, buttons, and modals look good and function smoothly on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Acceptance Criteria
- Users can add, edit, and delete documents.
- Changes persist in localStorage across page reloads.
- UI remains responsive and consistent with DocEase’s design.
- No major layout disruptions or styling inconsistencies.
