A quick update about my absence

I want to briefly explain why I’ve been much less visible lately.

At the beginning I was extremely active because I had a lot of free time and I was able to dedicate myself to this project at 100%. Then two things happened.

First, I started receiving a number of negative experiences, including private messages via email and other channels, constantly pushing me to implement features. Some of these messages became very insistent, and in a few cases even included threats. That took a toll.

Second, my free time dropped drastically.

That said, the project is not abandoned. Development is continuing quietly. I still work on it every weekend for a couple of hours, and overall things are progressing well.

I’m currently finishing the implementation of Multi UPS Monitoring, and at the same time I’m trying to fix the bugs you report as they come in.

I’m alone on this project, and it’s not always easy. I ask for a bit of understanding.

A new release to test will come “soon” — not a precise timeline yet — so please be patient.

Hey, thanks for the update! Out of curiosity, did you decide to go with the local collector concept or the centralized polling version?

I'm testing both. Both have pros and cons in terms of database size, latency, and continuous traffic. My Ubiquiti decided to cut me off because it suspected something strange was going on with the traffic. I need to check everything carefully and decide.

I've been running Nutify for 6-8 months now and have no complaints. Looking forward to multi-UPS for sure, but take care of yourself first.

Hello! I just installed Nutify as a container. It was a MUCH more straightforward approach than the CLI which I definitely enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, I love working in CLI but I do it all day so sometimes its nice for the simpler things to be more straightforward and in a UI so THANK YOU!

Please ignore the negative experiences you have had from some people, its not worth letting it get to you. You are doing a fantastic job and I am for am very grateful you have created this.

Keep it up :) And don't let anyone else get on your nerves... If they want some extra features and they want it now - they can always write the app themselves :P
