Question about mailto vs form

Hi SunMaple,

You put a "mailto:" link for your Contact section. What is the reason for ? I'm thinking about implementing an "hybrid", a contact form, but with a button redirecting to a mailto link, with the data filed from the form. I guess that it is somewhat easier for mobile users to type their messages in their usual email app; plus, the email they sent is kept in their Sent box (so they can remember what and to whom they sent something). And they can add attachments if needed, which is more difficult to manage with forms (and a static website). What is your opinion on that matter ?
