Trying to run configServer project - Project runs and gets closed after running cmd mvn spring-boot:run

I double checked and spring-boot:run starts up the application correctly for me. Are you starting up the right application? Could yo include the full log?

This is the full log for config server project:
\spring-cloud-config-example-master\configserver>mvn spring-boot:run
log.txt
This is the full log for config client project:
spring-cloud-config-example-master\configserver-client>mvn spring-boot:run
log_client.txt

I ran the projects in the order: 1st Server project Then Client Project. Please let me know what I am doing wrong with the application.

it is very strange, and honestly I don't know what is different on your machine. I made a fresh clone of this git repo on a new machine and it works as expected. A few things you can try

• I noticed that you downloaded the repo, try to clone it
• run it on a different machine
• instead of calling spring-boot:run, run the the main class of the server from your ide
• instead of calling spring-boot:run, call mvn clean install then java -jar target/spring-cloud-configserver-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar
