Ultrawide (3440x1440) seems broken

This is what appears when i get in-game. I dont know if this res is going to be like this forever, but I'd love for it to be fixed. Recently, because I got a new monitor, I can no longer play Sims 1 (or atleast, in my native res.)
I'm sorry if this post has been made a million times before, however i just want this issue to be known. Is it screentearing? I cant tell.

These are the settings I'm using. Maybe I'll try reinstalling TS1 on my C: drive and see what happens then. Any help or support would be a big help.

Is this The Sims without any expansions? Anyway, can you try setting your game to windowed mode and see if that helps any?
Here's how to do that:

1. Right click your Sims shortcut
2. Properties
3. Append -w to the target textbox

Running 3440x1440 seems to work for me in windowed mode but I'm using The Complete Collection.

Yes, I am using Sims CC. I'm going to re-install sims 1 and see if that changes anything. Once i do, i'll make another comment.
