Stardop won't open after update??

I updated stardrop to 1.8.2, and it restarted and was up and running. But I closed the tab a few minutes ago, and now its not opening up at all and it's giving a error message, as seen below. I checked the Privacy & Security settings tab and made sure it was chosen for the Developer's Tools and it's still not opening. Any ideas as to why this is happening??

Also, I'm on a Macbook Air M1.

You can manually redownload the app and drag it back to your Applications folder, overwriting the old one. All your settings will be preserved and you’ll see the “Stardrop has been updated” text after you launch the app.

In my case, the fix was to go to the following directory:
/Applications/Stardrop.app/Contents/MacOS

Then add execution permissions to the Stardrop binary:

chmod +x Stardrop

then try to launch Stardrop again and it must work as expected
