Feature Request - Make PSD Independent of MDT entirely

Apologies for the wide-cast of this request and the forum in which I'm requesting.

In the wake of Microsoft's announcement yesterday that they are immediately retiring MDT. I and many others that rely heavily on the use of PSD have a valid concern that this product will cease to function in subsequent releases of Windows. It may not be a concern today, this month, or even this year, but it is coming nonetheless.

I am reaching out to ask if there is a possibility of making PSD a standalone product that doesn't rely on MDT.

Thank you all very much for your hard work on the PSD product which brings incredible value to my school district.

I second this. I have said it many times, and I will say it again- thank you to all of the people that make this product happen. Having a product that completely sets up a machine from scratch is critical. If there is anything you guys need from other members or from myself, please let us know. I have been using this in production without major issues in two separate environments for almost 18 months at this point.

I would like to see it evolve into something that runs totally over https, has driver integration, has something similar to the mdt database but using something simpler like sql lite because there isn't much data that warrants the complexity of anything more advanced. Also like driver management build right in. Maybe something with application installs via choco or something like that, also run powershell with winrm and/or ssh to manage it over it's lifecycle. Make it more than just an install tool. A guy can dream big, right?
