Chrome web store has undocumented behaviour.

When submitting an application to the Chrome web store today, I found that files starting with a leading . are left out when an extension is published. It would have been nice not to have to know this. Failing that, it would have been nice to have known before hand.

I don't know what document this belongs in, or if it belongs in a document at all. It seems to me like an outright bug.

I'm not sure where this is supposed to be reported or documented. It seems that no product of Google's has a direct support line or email.
