We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:
- Using welcoming and inclusive language
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Showing empathy and kindness toward others
- Focusing on what is best for the community
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments
- Personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others’ private information without consent
- Other conduct which could be considered inappropriate or harmful
Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing this code of conduct. They will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Community leaders will follow these guidelines in determining the consequences for any action they deem in violation of this code of conduct:
- Correction – A private conversation and clarification.
- Warning – A formal warning with consequences if behavior continues.
- Temporary Ban – A temporary removal from community spaces.
- Permanent Ban – A permanent ban for severe violations.
