Pressing "(" outside of boxes puts a "()" and isn't caught by verifyKey

Eclipse has weird handling for some events, like Tab or (. But it doesn't get caught by verifyKey! That means students can type a "()" by pressing "(", and they aren't able to delete it because it's outside a box.

This might be related to cut/paste problems?
