I think it would be nice to have the ability to set a default encryption key when creating accounts. That way you don't need to keep entering the account password and encryption key.

Yes, it will be. But, it will be a security hole ;) The password need to be into the session environnement without security check. Because you have all the password that open all login/password devices, mail, company and maybe more, the risk is not correct.
It is only my point of view
