Windows X64 Unity Editor issue

Hello, I am not being able to run the Unity project on the editor, after changing the ORB.yaml and the dll references, im getting a "-1" on process_res call. Is there anything else im not considering?

Hello, Having the same issue of not being able to run the project in Editor but with a different error message, is there a step that's missing for the project to work in windows enviroment?

Initially the issue was not being able to find the locator library

But this went away after changing [DllImport("liblocator.so")] to [DllImport("locator")] in Visual.cs
but same is happening with cvTools library
Is there a missing step to generate this dll ourselves or am i missing something?

this happens similarly on both the latest commit and the one you linked in your comment.

@lugvi Hi,
I'm sorry for the dirty code on the main commit. Commonly, .so is for Linux-based system, so it gets error when loading on windows.

This commit is for windows, and the code is correct for loading pre-built .dll library.

Additionally, cvTools library is just a toolkit for Android platform, so I think your code is not the proper one. You may re-open the project on that commit to make everything work.

Thanks for the quick reply, indeed that commit has no errors in play mode but it also doesn't seem to have any editor features either i.e. it's missing the webcam setup for the scene.

Essentially what im looking for is a way to prototype the system in editor using webcam for point detection and object placement and then being able to build that as an android apk.

I was hoping your workflow to build the .apk listed in releases would work for me out of the box but as is - running the project in editor or in self built windows version shows nothing but black screen and "slam lost" debug message.

the 1.0.0.alpha release runs on windows but as far as i can tell it only uses the pre recorded video feed.

Hi @Jianxff@lugvi, I’m hitting a similar issue on Windows/Unity Editor. I can get past the “liblocator.so not found” by changing DllImport from "liblocator.so" to "locator", but then I’m missing the Windows equivalent of libcvTools.so (no cvTools.dll / libcvTools.dll), so Play Mode still can’t run.

Did you ever manage to run this in Editor with a webcam (point detection/object placement) and then build to Android? If yes, could you share what exact commit/setup you used and how you handled the cvTools dependency on Windows?
