Arch Workbench required when installing through FreeCAD Addon manager

When trying to install through Addon Manager, Arch Workbench is required. But this workbench is deprecated as of FreeCAD 1.0.

This makes it not possible to install the addon in FreeCAD 1.0 and later through Addon manager.

Strange, Pre-req's are defined in two files and I am not seeing any mention of Arch, maybe you need to
refresh your Addon Manager Cache - Refresh Local Cache - button

Anybody else seeing?

Thanks for looking into the issue.

After I refreshed local cache, the requirement for Arch workbench is no longer valid.

User has to install these two packages manually

• triangle
• xgbxml

Is this known behavior? If yes, I will close this issue.

I did consider using xgbxml but at the current time just using lxml to parse the gbxml, so you can ignore those two packages, I will update the metadata.txt

OK, one more thing.

When testing with FreeCAD 1.1dev, I still get the requirement for Arch Workbench, even after I refreshed the local cache

After I click OK the installation process proceeds normally and I am offered automatic installation of libraries.

After the installation, there is a problem with BIM Workbench. It seems to be replaced by the old BIM workbench, which was used before FreeCAD 1.0 was released and is not compatible FreeCAD 1.0 and later.

I removed BIM from metadata.txt.

My view is that is a FreeCAD Addon Manager bug, should be able to say BIM is required and not have it install the old workbench.

Isn't it implied since 1.0 that BIM WB is installed because it is part of the core workbenches? I think you can only de-activate it, but not uninstall.

When will be the changes you made active? I will re-test the installation through addon manager.
