Add more explicit (line by line) instructions for "Add Your Name" exercise?

Reading over the instructions we've written for the "Add Your Name" exercise, I wonder if they could be made more helpful with more detail? I didn't cover cloning, for example, in my talk on git.

Maybe I just missed this in Matt's slides, but could you include instructions for doing 'git push' without a username/pasword prompt? There's like an ssh keys option I believe. Since I have 2 factor auth enabled, I don't believe I can do the prompt, as least as of last time I was committing code. Christine

Another question that I think is related to this exercise.
You told us how branches disappear once you merge them. But what about my fork after I contribute back to the original project?

These are all really great questions :)

• You need to manually delete the branch and only you can do that because it's in your repo.
• also, your (edit: forked) repo is now out of sync with this repo and you'd need to pull changes back to your repo. I think we need a hands on exercise to demonstrate this stuff.

If you're editing things on Github, there should be a delete button somewhere. If you're using the command line, git branch -d <name-of-your-branch> will delete it for you.
