[Bug] DRG - "Chaost Thrust Disembowel Option"

When using the Chaos Thrust Disembowel Option (Expanded Combo), it acts properly in action but shows as Chaos Thrust until True Thrust has been used, at which point Chaos Thrust turns into Disembowel, then back into Chaos Thrust, and continues with the combo. Should it not act and appear as Disembowel if that is the first step of the combo chosen?

No, that's pretty well working as expected. It only turns into Disembowel if the prior combo action was True Thrust (or its variants), because only at that point is Disembowel buffed. Really, that's a sort oddity that's a result of Dragon being really the only job that has an option for the combos in this mod to start at the second action rather than the first (despite Samurai also having a branching combo system), plus the fact that for every job, the combined combo is implemented on the 3rd attack in the combo. For other jobs, this makes sense, because it's the final attack in the combo. For Dragoon, it used to make sense when Wheeling Thrust and Fang and Claw were both used as the 4th and 5th attacks for both combos, just in different orders, and still sorta makes sense just for parallel with other jobs.

I can see an argument if that if the combo option to start on the 2nd attack instead of the first is selected, the buttons should default to the 2nd attack when no combo (or an ineligible combo) is active.

This is essentially what I was trying to say, yes. Speaking to the special option that starts the second combo not on True Thrust but on Disembowel, it visually stays as Chaos Thrust until you have started the combo. It is disorienting to me when it flashes to Disembowel for one click, then back to Chaos Thrust before continuing.

Ya, makes sense, and doesn't align with how the combo options work for ones starting on the first attack. For example, SAM has a branching combo system as well, but if you have all 3 combo features active, if you use Hakaze/Gyofu, all 3 light up with the second attack in the combo. Whichever one you use, the other two buttons revert to showing Hakaze/Gyofu, even if you went down one of the 3-part combo paths. So ya, I'm on board with making those two combo options work similarly, just defaulting to the "start" of that button's section of the combo chain (Disembowel/Spiral Blow and Vorpal Thrust/Lance Barrage, respectively, with those options).

Lol I thought I had replied to this. Yeah, basically that was my thought! I have it like that on Samurai and it visually flows well for me, but on LNC/DRG, it doesn't match. That's part of why I brought it up.
