Description

- Perceptual rainbow: https://mycarta.wordpress.com/2013/03/06/perceptual-rainbow-palette-the-goodies/ This follows a cube-law lightness curve.
- CubeHelix: https://www.mrao.cam.ac.uk/~dag/CUBEHELIX/ These are another kind of linear color map, designed for use in astronomy. Perhaps a spiral in LAB space would work better, though?
