Locations index - cross-references to monuments and repositories

Cross-references to repositories and monuments in the Locations index need to be displayed/function as active links to the relevant record in EFES.

I looked for examples, and I found references in <desc type="conservation"> to the Byzantine Museum of the Cultural Foundation Archbishop Makarios III. The references are not encoded. I am sure there are other references to monuments that I wasn't able to pick out. Could I have some examples? In any case, they would have to be marked up using <ptr target="#monumentOrRepositoryName"/>.

There are 16 <ref> elements that link to other monuments or repositories in the same file. They appear inside

<desc type="conservation"> (10 items)
<desc type="architectural"> (6 items)

The indexing process eliminates all the markup - text is put into database fields, and new HTML markup is added when the page is created, from the Solr fields. However, it doesn't make sense to try and add individual fields for the cross references, as they appear within running text. It was easy to make links from the MedCY references, which presented a similar problem, because they all began with the string "MedCY." In this case, it may make more sense to add some symbols other than pointy brackets around the text and the target location when the file is indexed.
