App crashes when Manual Synchronization is tapped after creating a new feature (iOS and Android 15)

Description

When a user opens a project, creates a new feature, and then initiates a manual synchronization, the app crashes instead of completing the sync. The problem has been observed on both iOS and Android 15 devices.

Environment
Staging

Application (+ app version, build, operating system)

• iOS -Build: 25.12.837611 / Android: ARMv8 743551
• Devices - OS: iPhone - iOS / Android Samsung Galaxy A3 - Android 15

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Mergin Maps Mobile and download/open a project (or open an existing project).
2. Create a new feature (fill required fields and save the new feature locally).
3. Navigate to synchronization controls and trigger a manual sync/upload (tap Synchronize / Upload).
4. Observe the app's behavior immediately after tapping the sync button.

Actual results

• The app crashes (force closes) shortly after tapping Manual Synchronization; the sync does not complete and the new feature may remain only locally. No confirmation or error dialog is shown. Re-launching the app shows it restarted; sync state may be inconsistent.

Expected results

• Manual Synchronization should start the upload process, show progress or an informative error if it cannot proceed, and not crash the application. New features should upload successfully or the user should receive a clear error message with recovery steps.
