Implement Speed Control Feature for Audio Playback in Nyamrub

HYPOTHESIS

TEST

To verify that, we will:

  • Step 1Add a speed control button to the audio playback section with the following options:
    0.5x (slow)
    1x (normal)
    1.5x (faster)

  • Step 2Ensure the selected speed is applied instantly during playback.

  • Step 3Test the feature’s performance on both web and mobile platforms, ensuring:
    Audio quality remains clear and understandable at all speeds.

  • Step 4Default speed is set to 1x, with user ability to change it.
    Design the speed control button to be intuitive and non-disruptive to the user interface.

METRIC

And measure:

  1. Metric 1Feature adoption rate: Percentage of users utilizing the speed control option.
  2. Metric 2User satisfaction: Positive feedback about audio clarity and playback speed options.
  3. Metric 3Error rate: Instances of lag, glitches, or quality issues during speed adjustments.

CRITERIA

We are right if:

  4. The speed control button is intuitive and easy to use without impacting the existing UI.
