Multiple Street View Images per Footprint

Hi,
I am using BRAILS++ to download street view imagery for a user-specified set of footprints. I understand that BRAILS looks for the most head-on image and downloads that. However, I'm very interested in obtaining multiple images angles per each footprint, if possible. Has anyone tried this / think this could be reasonably extended from the current code? I'm happy to try to modify the scripts in BRAILS++, but would love some advice on where to look for this / how to get started. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your question. We have conducted a test implementation to capture multiple street-level views of buildings, and it certainly appears feasible. I would be happy to set up a meeting to discuss what such an implementation might require.

That said, while the multi-view setup itself is relatively straightforward, fully integrating it into BRAILS++ will be rather complex. The first thing that comes to mind is this change will require modifications to how our ImageSet data type is stored and processed by our computer vision models.

Were you interested in tackling such a sophisticated implementation?

Thanks for the reply! For my purposes, it would be most helpful (at least in the short term) to just obtain these images, not necessarily process them all the way through BRAILS++. If you think that part would be a reasonable lift for me, that would be great. I think integrating fully into BRAILS++ might be a bit beyond my current knowledge of the tool. Could we set up a meeting to discuss?
