Cannot load the section CFD-wind load on isolated buildings

Hi,

I have one issue using WE-UQ. When I am trying to use the CFD-wind load on isolated buildings on EVT, the page cannot be loaded, and WE-UQ is not responding. I have been using that for a while, and I do not know if the issue is from my new workstation or from the software. While I can load the page from other sections. For all CFD page such Empty domain simulation or surrounding buildings, I cannot load the page, and WE-UQ is just not responding. I have attached the picture for trying to load CFD-wind load on isolated buildings from tools.

Please let me know if there is any solution regarding this.

Thanks for the zoom call.

And for others out there we have resolved the problem. I have updated the documentation to reflect the issues of which there were a few:

1. When installing OpenFOAM it instructs you to add a line to the .bashrc file ** . /opt/openfoam10/etc/bascrc **. If not there WE-UQ, will not display the openfoam meshes it creates. If for some reason the default ubuntu shell is csh or tclsh, the above line will not work. Replace the line instead with source /opt/openfoam10/etc/bascrc.
2. If you move the directory containing WE-UQ to a different location after you have started it for the first time somewhere else, the application will not find it's needed backend applications. To enable the finding of these applications, in main menu go to File, Preferences and press the Reset and then Save buttons in that order.
3. If you move the application only out of the download folder, it will crash on start. This is because the application needs the dynamic link libraries, the dll's, in that download folder. If you want to move WE-UQ, move the entire folder ** and not just the application.**

Hi Frank,

I have encountered a new problem with WE-UQ. When I opened EVT, I could open most of them. However, when I try to run CFD-Isolated Building Wind Load Simulation, WE-UQ suddenly crashed and I could not open that. Could I know if there is any method to solve this problem?
