Description
Mk1 miner is 1/s, so the stone gain while mining shouldn't be greater than 1/s
Wall removal should be faster than player mining however since it's machine vs human hand
Stone mining gain for player mining walls should have the same balance, at most like mining a stone patch
Else hunting for stone patches is pointless, one just need to go underground and send a bunch of miners to mine a bit, instant stonepile :) way faster than stone mining
Even better, a mod option can be added for a percent for the underground stone income, like if set to 0.5, then Mk1 miner will get 0.5/s instead. Personally would opt for 0.17 for minimum (game seems to favor these 6x and 1/6 ratios). That will favor player input and vanilla stone patch usage over undeground stone exploiting
EDIT: surface driller is way too slow, producing too much stone at the same time out of nothing, which can be exploited. It should be about as fast as Mk1 miner, meaning take like a few seconds to open another level, and maybe should have research to upgrade to an electric one (in graphics, 1st could be a burner if it looks like one, but if there's a license problem I don't have an issue with same graphics for all), then have one cheap research for speedier drillers in line with Mk2, Mk3 etc. miner speeds. That means if it removed 10 rock walls it should gain 10 stone, and take 10 seconds. It's also because people like to play "speedruns" and the game time is split with other mods as well
