Original:

"The Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect appliance ports are recommended only for iSCSI and NAS connections."

Updated:

"Standalone Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect appliance ports are recommended only for iSCSI connections. When NAS connections are used with appliance ports, additional Nexus / compliant switches are required for certain failure scenarios."
