Non planar slicing

Expected Behavior

In many projects, printing is performed on an inclined surface, such as a tube, sphere, or deformed surface, where conventional slicing does not work. The expected behaviour is to take the base surface as the slicing plane.

Actual Behavior

Possible Solution

Using the base surface of the part as the slicing plane, duplicate it along the perpendicular z-axis.

Non-planar slicing and 5-axis slicing are not currently on our roadmap. Our current focus is on improved feature development for 3-axis slicing including angled slicing.

I'm going to leave this issue open for others to see.
