AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS does not allow to login with super user

When AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS is used in settings.py, the usual login does not work. However, after commenting it login work as per the expectation.

What would be the fix for this?

You should add "django.contrib.auth.backends.ModelBackend" to your AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS:

AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS = [
        "django.contrib.auth.backends.ModelBackend",
        "django_keycloak.auth.backends.KeycloakAuthorizationCodeBackend",
]
