Hi! I'd like to suggest you reconsider your approach to defining the "loading" parameter. Currently, the parameter is defined as the ratio of powers, but in power engineering it is common to define the current load (the ratio of currents) as the most reflective of the element's load. And from the point of view of heating physics, this is more correct. As an example, Power Factory and ETAP apps. In these applications, the load parameter is defined in terms of current.

I think you specifically refer to the loading of transformers right? The loading of lines is calculated by the ratio of current.

This is an interesting proposal.
One catch is that changing this would cause a change in behaviour, and thus a breaking change for all users.

Therefore, the only possible way to go forward with this idea is to add a calculation parameter trafo_loading with default behaviour power and the option to switch to current.
