Same for M3D Micro (without the plus) here. Totally unable to get any of the both binaries run on macOS Catalina 10.15.3 while trying a whole bunch of mono frameworks.
Delivered Mono 4.2… is way too old (32bit unsupported, at least since Mojave 10.14) and current Mono 6.8.0 simply crashes when starting M3D up:

Since it seams M3D does not care much about the macOS users (which is fine, as long it is communicated) enabling the FOSS community to fill the gap would be great!

You might open-source the communication protocol stuff instead and enable true native macOS development, though…
