Optimation with pressure drops

I have trouble understanding the 'PRESSURE' information.

In dit image I can read the flowspeed 1,67 m/s.
'NWN editor' and 'Map editor' have the same result. Nice.

But now the pressure graph shows a strange year plot. (in my opinion).
And the plot in de 'map editor' (focusing on the peak value 22jan 9o'clock) is different (see below)

summery:

1. what does the pressure plot show.
2. why are the NWN editor and Map editor different from each other.
