Struggling with difference between broken surface and uneven surface for Crosswalk tag

I think these are too similar to deserve their own tags and just end up causing confusion.

Maybe we just need a "Surface Problem" tag?

Or @misaugstad, how do you think about the differences?

I agree that those are quite similar. We couldn't just call the combined tag "surface problem" unless we wanted to lump in "bumpy", "brick/cobblestone", and "rail/tram track" as well. Which I would personally be fine with tbh.

Hmm, ok, then I suggest we combine broken surface and uneven surface into a cracked/broken surface (do we need to say "surface?") and use either of these images as the hover:

Both "cracked" and "broken" sound like they're describing "broken surface", with neither of those calling in the "uneven surface" that we're supposedly combining here.

What if we just removed "uneven surface"? I think that "broken surface" already sort of covers that, don't you think?

I like having cracked in there. I don't think we need an "uneven" tag at all imo.

IMO, "bumpy" is good enough for "uneven"

I think that "uneven" was specifically meant for there being a difference in level, which I don't feel like fits with bumpy... But this all just shows that the "uneven" tag was unnecessary and confusing!

Why do you like including "cracked"? That seems to be covered under "broken" so I don't really get why we'd change the tag name and make it longer...

Because "cracked" feels like the best characterization of this problem and the most generic term. Broken feels more hyperbolic.
