Feature Requests and Bug Report for Micrometer M07

Hello, thank you very much for your great work on the Micrometer M07.
I really enjoy using the device, and I would like to share some feature requests and one issue I have encountered:

1. GIF Support on LCD

It would be very useful if the LCD could support displaying animated GIF images, in addition to static images.

2. Per-Key LED Customization

I would appreciate the ability to configure the LED lighting individually for each key.

3. Long Press Handling Improvement

Occasionally, the device registers a key as being “held down” unintentionally.
It would be helpful if there were an option so that even when a long press is detected, it only counts as a single input.

4. High CPU Usage Issue

Sometimes when the M07 is plugged in, the CPU usage spikes to 100% under “System Interrupts.”
Once I unplug the M07, the issue disappears.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could investigate the cause of this behavior.

I used to think about supporting GIF images, but doing so brings two problems:

1. Increase the learning cost of users. Customer service will receive a lot of inquiries from users who do not know how to use the device, even if the instructions are very detailed.
2. Reduce the scanning frequency. We are using a single-core MCU, and if we require the GIF and keys to be run at the same time, then the two processes must be in the same loop, and the overall performance will inevitably be reduced, even if they can run at different frequencies without blocking.

The function of LED customization and long-press switch function will be adopted in the next hardware upgrade.

The issue of high CPU usage has never occurred on my computer. If you can find a way to reproduce it, I will test it.

Regarding the GIF video, I understand that implementing it on a single core would be difficult.
Would it be possible to use images such as PNG or JPG instead?

For the system within the MCU, all image formats are parsed into arrays when they are incoming in, and what matters is how these arrays are called. The difficulty with a single core is that when one process needs to be refreshed, it is equivalent to adding a hard delay (blocking) to another process. In this case, the keys need to listen to the user's actions, the higher the frequency, the better, there is no limit, so any delay will result in a performance degradation.
