The issue

After we have updated AVPro to the version 3.3.4 we have this issue in the top of our Firebase Crashlytics. There are more than 700 affeced users in less than 30 days.

Unfortunately that's not a lot of information to go on, if you can provide more details that would be very useful.

Which version did you update from?
Did you also update Unity version at the same time?
Which version of xcode are you using?
Is this issue just occurring on the device/OS version mentioned or on others? If so, could you let us know which it is occurring most frequently please?
Does this reproduce in macOS?

4. No, we have a banch of devices and OSs the issue is occured on. :
   Most phones:
   24% iPhone 14 Pro Max

   Most iOS:

5. We didn't try to build on macOS.

Supposed I've figured out the behaviour the users have in common:

1. The user opens the screen with video player (A)
2. The user opens the other screen -> the screen with player (A) gets inactive, but hasn't destroyed. mediaPlayer.CloseMedia(); invoked.
3. The user opens new screen with video player (B) -> the issue occured. Probably during player (B) initialization phase, while there is one more player (A) (inactive)

• iOS 26.2
• Xcode 26.2
• Demo_MediaPlayer
