Arduino Language is Cpp not C #1

Hello, fellows! First of all, your project is really amazing. I am following your advances from here.
I was looking through my github news and I found this repository. I would like to advice you guys to change the extension of the present code to .cpp instead of .c once Arduino language is based in C++ not C. This can be a real problem for some future modifications or Cpp-only dependencies on your code.
Alternatively, I would say it is better to refactor the code as .ino since the arduino language has some modifications from the C++ language.
