Roland MC-303 (and likely MC-*): Multi-Message for NRPN

Fought with this one a bit after struggling with SysEx Patch Select and failing completely. Might post Q on that separately.

Notes

• CCs go from 0 - 127, so to access additional params one needs to use values > 127, which CCs can't support

  • assuming this is why NRPNs start at #128

• When using NRPN on the MC-303, they recommend following it up with RPN Null

• MidiMessage Type = Multi

• midiMessageChannelOverride = YES

  • this will have the Multi pick up midiMessageChannel instead of the Menu>MIDI>Output>Channel># setting

• midiMessageChannel = 9 (Part1)

  • 0 > 8 = RPS1 > RPS 8
  • 8 = Part1
  • 9 = PartR(ch10)
  • PartA-F = Part2-7

• midiMessageCtrlrNumber

  • CCs go from 1>128 ( or 00H > 7F )
  • Cutoff = '01H 20H' (or 128 + 32 = CtrlNumber = 160)
  • Note that 127 + 20H = 159, but Ctrlr UI uses Ctrl Number DECIMAL, so this will be 160

• MC-303 doesn't use Data LSB

  • Normally one sends Data 06MSB * 38LSB
  • In order to get it to work
    • Drop 38LSB
    • Data06: Change from MSB > LSB to get Ctrlr to pass the value to it
      • If MSB is left, it will just send 00
