Description
There is no good option to handle fish that swim on top of the ice:
- They swim away from the player as if they were underwater, this looks very buggy. If they are going to spawn and swim around ON the ice surface it would be better for them to get deleted.
- Given that we cant see fish under the 100% opaque ice, it seems logical and more performant to simply delete and not spawn ANY in winter... if thats a simple moddable option.
- With
frozen fishenabled or disabled the fish over ice dont seem to be pickable either way. I'm not sure if thats a bug that gets stuck/isnt updated when changed via configurationManager after togglingfrozen fishor not. - The above point also breaks mods like spearFishing: in that shooting the fish on ice does nothing. In a prior seasonality version I was able to shoot the fish and pick them up as is normal with spearfishing.
