Vikings settlement Spawn issue

Currently all the vikings spawn everywhere and theres a lot of them.

Similar to renegade vikings, can u add configurations in config file how often the vikings, ships and settlements can be found/ spawned?
I find it extremely hard to explore in the first biome and it seems there are too many vikings.

Also Is this empty space around the settlements intended?
If so consider reducing it a bit if you can, it leaves an empty feeling around the area of a settlement and kind of not pretty in a otherwise a beautiful looking settlement.

Heyyy its me againn..

Found another one.. it appears to happen near the black forest biome but when the settlement spawns in meadows.. but im not sure. I've only enabled settler locations in meadows plains and ocean

Same base, surrounded by black forest... at least the dirt is... I think i see a pattern here lol

Adding more context, I installed the mod (v0.2.0) which should have the locations disabled, but was still getting a large amount of frame drops. Running the game with the console up showed that locations were still spawning, but they were not appearing on the map.

NPC spawning appeared normal.
