Create a man-page for the application

Yeah sure! Go ahead with this. As for your doubt, the backup.ap file is the main backup file which contains the package list. It can be generated either by running the cli tool manually or by setting up a periodic backup by passing a cron expression to the cli tool as mentioned in the guide.
