What is the difference or use case with the two kinds of domain settings: main vs resource?

What is the difference or use case with the two kinds of domain settings: main vs resource?

Main domains are typically the ones you actually visit.
Resource domains are the ones those website you visit downloaded resources from.
Resources could be anything: images, scripts, libraries, fonts

Not really no

There are so many domains listed there.

That's why I've put them aside, cause they pollute a lot.
