RAM reported speed is SPD instead of effective

My ram is running at 6000 mhz but reported at SPD speed by spec-ify.

Perhaps this issue is linked to DDR5 Identification pull request?

Or maybe because i'm running newest 25H2 windows version 26200.6725?

It might be the DDR5 speed thing. To confirm, could you run this build of specify? https://github.com/Spec-ify/specify/actions/runs/17934557701/artifacts/4078627401

This is the experimental build of the pull-request you mentioned, in-which I wrote in code to identify DDR5 sticks specificallly. DDR5 reports it's current speed to a different byte in hex, so you'd have to check for that.

If it reports correctly, that means it is that problem, and this will be closed when the PR has been merged.
