Creating a new Meeting involves multiple decisions and creates a persistent room. I often only want a one-time link to send around and have a call. (flat permissions, no recordings, no room name)

Describe the solution you'd like
Something similar to the Jitsi Meet experience. A quick and easy way to get a link to share without needing to clean up my room list afterwards.

For the automatic cleanup an expiry date would be necessary. I would suggest a default lifetime of one week. That could be a simple drop-down like some Etherpad-instances have it (e.g. https://pad.systemli.org/).

Thanks for your issue, we are already thinking in this kind of direction.

More broadly we also think of different types of rooms (one-time [instant / scheduled]; persistent [irregular / scheduled])
We are still missing a good concept what these types will look like, what features and settings should be available, etc.
For some scenarios it would make sense to have an invitation system (accept / decline; like scheduling a calendar event), or a calendar to see when the next meetings are planed
