Our current shareable links expose long database IDs, which makes them hard to share.

Main Question

What’s the better approach?

1. Change database IDs to shorter ones

   • Cleaner links, but requires schema changes.

2. Keep IDs as they are and create a short-link system

   • Easier and safer: generate a short public ID that maps to the real ID.

Discussion

• Which option is more practical?
• Any concerns with mapping short IDs to real submissions?
