Aegisub hangs when opening certain file

With aegisub latest commit (eef3fcc) compiled with

meson setup --wipe build -Db_pch=false -Dlocal_boost=true
meson compile -C build
meson install -C build

hangs when loading some of my files. By this I mean
aegisub <attached file>
creates a window that doesn't do anything.

I've narrowed it down to whether the file has an Audio File or a Video File in its [Aegisub Project Garbage] section as it doesn't occur when I use a file without Audio File or Video File specified.

Attached is a video reproduction and the .ass file used in the reproduction (renamed to .txt for Github upload restrictions reasons)

my workaround at the moment is to launch aegisub then open problematic .ass with File/Open subtitle

I just found out that it's not the window being non interactable, but rather the "do you wish to open the following video and media file" context box that doesn't show, but still blocks input.
When this bug happen I can press Enter and then aegisub will proceed as if I chose to load the video/audio. Might be a regression in wxwidgets or something aegisub uses to do the windowing
