FreeBSD 16.0 built from FreeBSD-src checkout 90a7728cd890
Component
Storage and Virtual Disks
What happened?
I attached 13 disks including a CDROM and 12 hard disks to the LSI Logic SAS controller.
When shutting down FreeBSD with "shutdown -p now" or sending it an ACPI signal, VMBOX crashed.
It does not crash if only 2 disks are attached. Nor does it crash every time.
MacOS crash report:

VBOX log:
fbjunk-2026-02-07-09-48-18.log
How can we reproduce this?
Attach 13 disks to a VM.
I don't think the problem is confined to FreeBSD
Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?
